SJVN Achieves Milestone: Receives Anti-Bribery Management System Certification

In a significant development, SJVN Limited, a prominent player in the power sector, has been honored with the prestigious Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) Certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The official certification was presented to SJVN’s Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Prem Prakash (IOFS), in a ceremony attended by distinguished dignitaries, including BIS’s Director General, Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS). The event took place during the National Seminar on ABMS hosted at NITS-Noida.

This remarkable achievement marks a pivotal moment for SJVN, as the company becomes the first Power Sector Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to successfully implement the ABMS, solidifying its commitment to ethical business practices.

The ABMS Certification has been conferred in recognition of SJVN’s adherence to the ISO 37001:2016 Standard, which has been seamlessly integrated across 14 different locations within the organization. This strategic move reflects SJVN’s dedication to ensuring transparency and accountability in all its operations.

Pramod Kumar Tiwari, in his address, commended SJVN for its outstanding contributions to the field of Anti-Bribery Management Systems. The event was attended by several eminent personalities, including Tripathi and Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) from other Public Sector Undertakings. Salil Shamshery, SJVN’s Executive Director (IT&SE), Anil Kumar Goel, SJVN’s Deputy CVO, and other senior officials graced the occasion with their presence.
